New Children's Book:  "I AM Just a Dot"

Period realizes that he is not like all the other ending punctuation marks. He’s constantly comparing himself to Question Mark and Exclamation Mark, his friends. He mistakenly believes that he is useless in writing. The story will unfold when Period’s day will finally come to reveal his strength. Neither the question mark nor the exclamation mark will be able to save the day. This will be the day that Period finally realizes his value and worth to humans in the land of writing.

This heart-warming story will take you on Period’s journey from coveting the gifts of others to discovering and being thankful for his own gifts. Learn why walking in your own Yah-given purpose….IS WHAT IS ALWAYS BEST.

I was in total bliss from the beginning to the ending of this amazing story! The storyline was well written, and the richly-colored illustrations left me in awe of the talents displayed in this book by both the author, Shatton and the illustrator. I am a K-8 Reading Specialist, and my students loved, loved, loved this story, stating that it inspired them.
“I Am Just A Dot,” is a must read!

Me & Khaleel read Shatton's new book together & we both give it two thumbs up! A great story line that all can relate to and brings home the point of appreciating our own uniqueness! I also love how the Hebrew letters were incorporated into Period’s physical identity. Keep em coming sis, our children need more quality books! Autumn Draper did a great job with the illustrations!
